Here we are, two days from the Florida primary. I've noticed the usual discrepancies in reporting, between the LMSM, and what I hear and read elsewhere. Especially, when it comes to poll results.
Seems everything I hear from the MSM talking behinds, is that Romney is leading by double digits. Then I hear from a source not so entrenched, and Newt will be closing in, or actually leading. There was a great article today on TPN, showing how if Santorum's backers would back Newt, he'd win going away. Flip side of that same coin, if Newt's followers would back Santorum, voila--he'd win.!
Trouble is, Mr. Santorum, and I have absolutely no problem with him, hasn't been able to really mount a charge. Hopefully, Mr. Cain's endorsement of Newt will be enough to put him over the top, against RINO Romney. I find it interesting that McCain, Dole, the MSM, including Drudge, are attacking Gingrich and backing Romney. I guess the Republican establishment is really pulling out their stops--they'll back anyone against a conservative. As you saw, Mitch Daniel, trotted out briefly, didn't make the grade, so they're back to trying to shove Romney down our throats.
I guess we'll just have to wait till Tuesday, about 7:01, or when ever the polls close. I predict the LMSM will call the winner about one minute after polls close.
Why do we vote?
Cause it's the least we can do.

The Gingrich that Stole SC
Now that Newt Gingrich has taken the SC primary, I imagine HObama's goons will turn more of their attention to his campaign.
Not surprising. I've heard much discussion around the Republican primaries, debates and negative ads, mostly asserting that these attacks on each other will just help prepare the eventual winner for the onslaught of HO's attacks that will be sure to come. Maybe.
Don't forget the LSM. They will be out for blood, as usual. I spent some time in my doc's waiting room one afternoon this week. CNN was on the TV, and so I was a captive audience. If that is where most people get their news, we're in really bad shape. Almost all the coverage was devoted to Gingrich's ex-wife's expose. And, of course, it gave credence to her message. No doubt CNN was hoping for this to be a major deal breaker for Newt! We know how that went!
The only thing that may be worse for Newt right now than the LMSM is the establishment Republicans. I heard Christie might consider running with Mitt as VP. Thought he had ruled that out. Wonder what the establishment promised? Hmmm.
I gotta start keeping notes. So much I want to write about, and then when I get over here, poof--they're out in the mist. Oh, well. Some will return.

Third Party But Not Newt?
I was out and about yesterday morning-New Years Day. I had no idea as many businesses would be open, and my bride, earlier, had said to me:You must be kidding (about everyone being closed). What can I say? Besides being a natural born skeptic and cynic, I'm also quite naive.
It's going to be a beautiful, global warming day here in south Georgia...mid 70s. I'll wash the car later, but right now, I want to do a little begging. Whilst I rode around, burning precious fuel, I was listening to a rerun of Glenn Beck. He had a caller almost screaming that if Newt was the Republican candidate of choice, he'd be voting "other." Or, he wouldn't vote. He would vote for a third-party candidate.
Voting for anyone other than the nominee, will be no better than voting for HO, because it will ensure his re-election. At one time, I hoped for Newt. Then as the media and establishment Republicans began digging, not to mention opponents, I began to have second thoughts.
Fortunately, Dr. Thomas Sowell has his thinking cap securely in place. I read a couple of article by him on the subject of Newt, and he cleared up a lot. Basically, every US citizen wanting to preserve this country and our Constitution had better wake up and vote accordingly. BUT! I've just read where Newt is anti-gun. That's a major problem for me. As you know, without the second amendment, the first will be no good. Getting close, anyway...for us conservatives.
Getting POed and voting for any third party candidate will mean Barack Hussein will get four more years to complete his dismantling of the nation. I may not like the candidate of choice for the Republicans; I don't think the best are running, and I don't mean Christie or Trump. Regardless, I will vote for our candidate. May have to hold the ol' nose, but I'd vote for my dog (which I don't have)before I'd cast a vote that would help Hussein.
I keep hoping against hope that he will be impeached, but there isn't a Republican with the balls to get it rolling. That should help occupy his time during the coming year. That, mixed with his golfing and vacations should considerably reduce his time for campaigning.

Happy New Year, Patriots!
Traveled across the Savannah River to Grandma's over the Christmas weekend. Trip north was great, and traffic, although very heavy, moved well. I kept an eye on the south-bound lane, which continued to have bottlenecks. I hoped it would be cleared up by time we were schedule to be returning. This is all on I-95.
Everything went pretty well on the return trip, until we passed Florence, SC. Then traffic came to almost a screeching halt. I don't know what it is about merging traffic that drivers don't understand. Several times, cars merging into our lane would be accelerating, and I'd maintain my speed, or slow a little as needed. Well, no thanks, buddy.
If you're going to slow down, I'll slow down, too. You know what happens. I guess this is why it took almost 6-1/2 hours to make a 3-1/2 hour trip. Once we passed the last possible bottleneck, Hardeeville, SC, traffic picked up a little till the GA state line, where it was able to return to normal speeds. Of course, it does help that GA has three lanes.
Gotta buy another plane...or travel a different day.

Guns, God and commies
First of all, let me wish everyone a belated Happy Thanksgiving. I hope yours was everything you hoped for, and more. I enjoyed Joe Pags filling in for Glenn this morning, and he reminded us all of what Thanksgiving is really about. It's about thanking God for his bounty. Whether it be for family, health, jobs, the air we breath, or just for our being--not such a small thing. The thing I'm always most thankful for, besides God, is parents. I thank them for giving me a good start, and for steering me in the right direction.
Now, on to Guns and commies. The following little note appeared in my inbox, and as you've learned by now, I will pass along anything I deem worthy, and this goes straight to the top of the stack. I haven't checked it for veracity, but it sounds like something the commie-pinko left would attempt. If they can't buy off enough judges, and win at the ballot box, they'll come at us gun owners from another direction. That's what this is all about. Soros is backing OWS, and this sounds just like the low-life. Once again, I've bleeped my thoughts.
Please send this to all your patriot friends, and anyone interested in preserving the greatest country ever. Help preserve our Constitution.

Who is buying companies manufacturing guns?
For the last several years a company called The Freedom Group has been buying up gun and ammunition manufacturers. Some of the companies are Bushmaster, Marlin, Remington, DPMS, Dakota Arms and H&R.
Some people worry that this Freedom Group is going to control most of the firearms companies in the United States. If you control the manufacturers you can decide to stop selling to civilians. What a perfect way to control guns.
Now if you do some digging you will see that The Freedom Group is owned by a company called Cerberus Capital Management.
Guess who controls Cerberus? GEORGE SOROS! One of the most evil men on this planet who wants to restrict or ban all civilian guns.
Please pass this on to all your freedom loving friends. This needs to come out.Why have we not heard about this in the “mainstream” media? I would think this would be BIG news.
If you don?t know who George Soros is, you need to do some research. He backed Obama with millions of dollars and Obama is a puppet on a string controlled by Soros.
