HObama care

The following is something I copied from the so-called health care reform bill. Can you imagine reading 1080 pages of this mumbo jumbo? And this is some of the easy crap.

Here it is:"SEC. 116. ENSURING VALUE AND LOWER PREMIUMS.

(a) In General- A qualified health benefits plan shall meet a medical loss ratio as defined by the Commissioner. For any plan year in which the qualified health benefits plan does not meet such medical loss ratio, QHBP offering entity shall provide in a manner specified by the Commissioner for rebates to enrollees of payment sufficient to meet such loss ratio.CommentsClose CommentsPermalink

(b) Building on Interim Rules- In implementing subsection (a), the Commissioner shall build on the definition and methodology developed by the Secretary of Health and Human Services under the amendments made by section 161 for determining how to calculate the medical loss ratio. Such methodology shall be set at the highest level medical loss ratio possible that is designed to ensure adequate participation by QHBP offering entities, competition in the health insurance market in and out of the Health Insurance Exchange, and value for consumers so that their premiums are used for services."

Like I said, this is some of the easiest to read. Most of what I looked at was much more legalistic, and referred to other laws and bills from other decades, and/or paragraphs of each, including references to the IRS.

Now, I wonder what the IRS is going to have to do with health care...wait a minute. I think I remember hearing something about those of us who are not covered will owe a steep fine...I bet that's where the goons from IRS come in.

Which of the idiots trying to ram this down our throats said it would take two days and two lawyers to read the bill? They might read it in two days, but they sure as hell wouldn't know what they had read. Matter of fact, I doubt seriously it could be done, what with jumping from plan to program to paragraph to subsection to subsection...to government agency...no way.

If any semblance of this passes, especially if the energy bill accompanies it, we can all kiss our collective behinds adios. I would have said goodbye, but by then, the hispanics and everyone using the emergency room for a head cold will be voting to keep these bastards in office, and we few remaining worker bees, will be wondering more and more, why the hell bother....

2010 may be our last chance.

Vote for your Constitution and your wallet.
