profiling, anyone

Just can't let this one go. I'm sure everyone's heard by now about the black dude, Gates, up at harvard, of all places, whose charged a white policeman with profiling becaue he arrested him. Well, wouldn't you know. He was trying, with the help of a cab driver, sounds like, to break into his own home, because the door was 'swollen'.

A neighbor called the police. He wouldn't show his ID to the police, so he was arrested. Apparently, they had gotten into the house...gates and the officer. Gates followed the officer outside when the officer suggested they talk outside...gates said something about talking to his 'mama'. Sounds like a typical black response to me. BTW, there were two black cops there, too.

Frankly, I'm surprised the police, black or white, hold their tempers as well as they do. Now, I know there are some out there on a power trip, but fortunately, most are just interested in doing their jobs well. And, as for profiling, I profile every day...blacks, whites, latinos...I'm an equal opportunity profiler. But when HO mentions profiling, and Gates mentions profiling, and anyone in the media, mentions profiling, they're talking about white, honkey, America profiling blacks. Not hispanics, not Italians, not Chinese, ... blacks.

When the same people talk about minorities, they're not talking about women, latinos, people with MS, they're talking about blacks. To be such a small part of the population, they sure do raise a lot of hell.

And, as for reparations, which I've heard a lot of the last few days,...far as I'm concerned, putting HO in office is more than enough in reparations.

I'm out o' here...gotta take a pill.
