We're coming up on Independence Day, and all I can think of is how many of our freedoms have disappeared, or are going away, since the most recent election. The auto industry is under control of people who know nothing about it...the government. The banking industry probably has always been under control of the Federal Reserve, which is not actually a government agency. Hate to say it, but I only discovered that recently. If you never read "The Creature from Jekyll Island", you really should. Not only will it open your eyes...it's a great read, it'll piss you off and scare you. It'll cause the daily news take on a whole new look.

As you know, Cap and tax passed the house, and now is before the senate. And, since our new political system--you know, the one that keeps counting and recounting, and throwing out and not allowing votes, till you get the results you're looking for--that system,(the one the democrats use, because the republicans are too chicken-crap to challenge it)has put Al the mouth Franken in the senate from those brilliant voters up in MN; well, it's sure to pass the senate, along with the new HO health care system. Now with those two mammoth government programs in place, this country will soon not resemble anything we ever knew or even thought of...even in our worst nightmares. I guess the closest we've come was the Great Depression. The coming event will dwarf that, I'm afraid. And I thought Clinton was bad...oh, for the good old days!

I got an email today, detailing mama bears shopping trip to London. Those idiots are totally classless. It's embarrassing having them in the White House. I wouldn't be surprised to hear "Pomp and Circumstance" replaced by the theme from "The Jeffersons" TV show.I keep waiting for that sob to change the name of the White House. With all the no-balls senators, he could probably get away with it. And, you know the freaking media would eat it up.
