Three Cheers for Mary Ann Glendon's Principles

I'm pretty sure by now, that you've heard that Arlen Specter has made it legal...or is going to make it so...he's turning democrat. He's always been liberal, from where I've sat, and while this is no big surprise, it will add one more 'd' to any vote. But, that's the whole raison d'etre for this little blog...and I'm not at all sure of that spelling, but I bet you get my drift...no more incumbents...means term limits. Specter said the republican party had moved too far to the right. I wonder which republican party he's talking about. I thought the current bunch of repbubicans had moved pretty far to the left...at least to conservative, Constitutional views.

We need to dump everyone of them...how would you like to be able to vote yourself a raise? And, from what I hear, that makes madame hillary ineligible for her current post...something about not being eligible for a seat one has voted a salary increase for.

I see from a headline on CNSnews.com, that the White House expects Hobama to wear the traditional robe at the Notre Dame graduation ceremony. Apparently, the traditional doctoral robe features a cross and a prayer of the Virgin Mary. It'll be interesting to see how that all shakes out. I'll lay odds that he doesn't wear it, but will come up with a really good, lame excuse. But, on the other side of that coin, was good news.

Mary Ann Glendon, former Ambassador to the Vatican, and currently pro-life professor at Harvard, of all places, ( how did that ever happen?) wrote Rev. John Jenkins, President of Harvard, that she would not be able to accept the very prestigious Notre Dame Laetare Medal, or speak at the commencement exercise on May 17. How could anyone do that, you and I may ask. Simple. She's a woman of true character, beliefs and morals.

Ms. Glendon said in her letter to President Jenkins, that honoring Hobama (my name for him, not hers...she's a lady) with an honorary degree, "was in disregard" to what US Catholic bishops have taught about Catholic institutions. The CNSnews.com article went on to say the Laetare Medal was given by Notre Dame to honor a Catholic "whose genius has ennobled the arts and sciences, illustrated the ideals of the church and enriched the heritage of humanity," according to the Notre Dame website. In other words, this is not some wimpy little award Ms. Glendon is passing up. And, just so you know, she's not just some professor at Harvard, (I'm sure they'll love that) she's the Learned Hand Professor of Law, at the Harvard Law School.

Also, in the CNSnew article by Michael Chapman, managing editor, Ms. Glendon said in her letter, "talking points" released by Notre Dame officials to dampen criticism of Hobama's invitation, implied that Ms. Glendon's acceptance and talk would help assuage emotions. I wonder how much of this will make the drive-by media.

Mary Ann Glendon's letter was presented in its entirety on CNSnews.com's site. I highly recommend going there and reading it. Might make you stand up and cheer.

And I hope it makes you want to pick some better leaders. It did me.

Congratulations, Carrie Prejean

Back in town, after a few fun days with a bunch of right-wing extremists, down in Lakeland, FL, at Sun-n-Fun, the fly-in that kicks off the so-called flying season. Lots of great airplanes, especially the antiques and classics. I'm always amazed at the condition and quality of planes dating from the 30's. Not to mention the dedication in time and money the owners put into keeping them in such pristine condition.

It was quite pleasant being away from all the news and happenings for a few days, but now I'm glad to be back. I see HO is still in office, but I see too, that Senator James Inhofe has vowed to filibuster the appointment of Judge David Hamilton to the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals. I'm glad someone has the balls to do something. Of course I've written my senators and reps imploring them to support Inhofe. According to an article by HumanEvents.com, Hamilton is an ultra liberal, and once served as fund raiser for ACORN. He was also leader of the Indiana chapter of ACLU. He was nominated to the district court bench by Bill Clinton, even though the American Bar Association said he was not qualified. But, since when did qualififcations matter to a democrat...just look at the whose in the whitehouse.

That article went on to say that Hamilton had ruled in 2005 that it was illegal to use the words "Jesus", "Christ", or "Savior" in prayers opening the chamber's business. However, it was deemed perfectly okay to refer to "Allah." Where do these idiots come from...or what do they come from?

While trying to catch up on news, I ran across an article about Chinese Muslims being released to communities in the US. According to the article, as many as seven Guantanamo residents may become residents of some community here in the states...one that was mentioned was outside DC, in one of the VA suburbs...well, better there than my backyard...isn't that always the case?

But frankly, if they're to be released here, I think they should be neighbors of our esteemed leaders...or put 'em all in California...San Francisco, maybe...but that could be considered 'cruel and unusual'.

I was just reading another little article, from Newsmax, about one of HO's republican hit-men. Ray LaHood, Transportation Secretary, is apparently going to be able to pull in some republican moderates to vote on some of HO's issues, especially health reform. He will also need some republican support in the area of trade legislation and immigration reform, according to the same article. I was a little surprised at the republican LaHood being on HO's cabinet, until I discovered he was from Illinois...'nuff said.

Of course, I finally heard about Carrie Prejean's answer to the asinine question from what's his face. Of course, marriage is between a man and a woman...otherwise, she wouldn't have been standing there. She may not have won the title, but I bet she won a lot of hearts and respect. BTW, the only reason I know who actually won, is because I got an e-mail from a friend...apparently we all went to the same school...ECU.

Please, please, let's turn 'em out. No more incumbents guarantees term limits.

Obama lied? Would he?

Just a few words before I fly out of town for a few days.

Hoboma seems to have lied again. At first, no prosecution of Bush 'era' officials for doing their jobs to protect the country from terrorism. Now, it seems it will be okay to do just that. But, that should come as no surprise...given his track record, in these few 'long' days of his admin.

Besides, these so-called torture tactics are hardly more than hazing performed for fraternity rushes. Probably not as harsh as some. And, as former VP Cheney said on Fox TV, and I'm paraphrasing, if they're going to release the interrogation techniques, they should release the results of same, showing the info obtained and how it helped in prosecuting the war on terrorism. Mr. Cheney has called for declassifying the reports. That's something (the war) they should be prosecuting, but of course, the dems can't even bring themselves to mention the word. What a bunch of wimps.

I thought Otto Reich, former Ambassador to Venezuela, had a very interesting take on Hobama's shenanigans with Hugo Chavez. Basically, he thought Hobama's yukking it up with Chavez was at best in poor taste, and bad for the United States' image in the world. Chavez said that little roust- about with Hobama "is the greatest triumph in Venezuelan diplomacy ever."

Asked by NewsmaxTV's Ashley Martella about the book Chavez gave Hobama, Reich said "Absolutely it was a mistake." He went on to say it was the fault of his staff, but I say Hobama and his staff are peas-in-a-pod. I don't think it was a mistake.

He mentioned the sales success of the book, its having reached at one time the number 2 slot on Amazon.com. But it never topped Mark R. Levin's Liberty and Tyranny-A Conservative Manisfesto. Rush pointed that out yesterday.

Think about your future with these incumbents.

Then find some replacements.

Enjoy the week.

Rightwing Extremist!

Just found out I'm a right wing, or is that one word, extremist. Again I discover this on my favorite news website...newsmax.com. There was a whole list of things, that, if you are against, might make you, according to MIAC, a rightwing extremist.

In addition to the list, according to a DHS report, courtesy Napolitano, if you are simply a supporter of the second amendment, that makes you a rightwing extremist. Imagine that. Supporting the Constitution of the United States makes you a rightwing extremist.

In case you're interested, here's a copy of the list:

"The United Nations
The New World Order
Gun Control
The violation of Posse Comitatus
The Federal Reserve
The Income Tax
The Ammunition and Accountability Act
A possible Constitutional Convention
The North American Union
Universal Service Program
Radio Frequency Identification (RFID)
Abortion
Illegal Immigration
"

See anything there that makes you a rightwing extremist?

I just got an email from a friend in Virginia Beach. He said something about people there having a different view of things, usually, because they didn't get all their news from the drive-bys. He forwarded a message written after a conversation with a Navy Seal friend.

Basically, it said that BHO, his term, not mine--hince-forth it will be simply HO--I think that's more appropriate. Anyway, HO took 36 hours before he would let the Seal teams go to the rescue. And, when they were there, they couldn't do anything unless it appeared the prisoners life was in imminent danger.

Finally, the on-scene-commander decided that an AK-47 pointed at the back of the hostage was a pretty good indication of imminent danger. He gave the order, and as the email said, "Three rounds downrange later, all three brigrands became enemy KIAs and Philips was safe". Although the HO jumped out there taking the credit for handling everything, the email went on to say "What should have been a standoff lasting only hours — as long as it took the USS Bainbridge and its team of NSWC operators to steam to the location — became an embarrassing four day and counting
standoff between a ragtag handful of criminals with rifles and a U.S. Navy warship."

And by now, I'm sure you've heard of HO's trip south, where he recieved a book from his good buddy, Hugo Chavez, detailing the US's poor treatment of the countries down there. The only good thing about it is, HO is going to give Chavez one of his books...HO's that is. That'll teach him. Of course, after the fact, HO said he thought Chavez had written the book...always a day late and a dollar short. Actually, in his case, more than a dollar, and they aren't even his. They're ours.

Hard to believe that some of this might slip our minds in 18 months or so; therefore, I'm going to keep reminding us of the unbelievable idiocy out there.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend, and remember, no incumbents means term limits, or vice versa!

No surprises from the drive-by media

Dropped a line or two last night about the TEA parties here in Savannah. Then, today I've seen some of the reports from the drive-bys. No surprises.

Saw some "reporterette" from cnn trying to browbeat a young father, holding onto his two year old child, trying to explain why he was at the Tea Party. Besides getting in his face and not letting him finish, this moron walked off, and practically called him a terrorist. And they wonder why they're losing what little viewership they ever had. And btw, I meant "cnn".

I also saw where Barry had the name of Christ covered up where he was speaking at Georgetown.

The Tea Parties were obviously a huge success, despite what so-called national media says. I'm sure most everyone saw where the million tea bags, being delivered near the Capital, had to be reloaded and moved...they claimed we had the "wrong" permit. Thought that was covered by the first ammendment...which was quoted in the newsmax story.

2010 folks. We've got to turn them out!

Once incumbents learn they're not going back, maybe things will begin to change. That will mean they will have to live with what they sow...

Save the Constitution and the Country.

Vote out incumbents in 2010, especially, the top five.

Before it's too late.

Tea Party Topic, Term Limits!

Just got back from one of the local TEA Parties. The most forceful topic there was Term Limits. So at least the subject of this blog, no incumbents, is popular. Perhaps I should have called it term limits.com? Too late.

We had a great turnout. Standing room only, but I must say, it was a small room. At a local burger joint...B&D Burgers on Abercorn here in Savannah. There were other TEA parties around town, and in surrounding areas, Richmond Hill, for instance. I only saw one black, oops, African, hyphen,American, at ours. He stood right beside me, and I figured he must be a spy, but when they brought up the fair he clapped as loudly as any of us...must be working for a living.

Our event was run by Bill Edwards, talk show host on WTKS, probably the number one rated show in his time slot every morning. Bill does a great job standing up for the Constitution and country. He even manages to stay civil when he gets a call from some talking-point liberal yelling about something, which fortunately, is pretty rare. It may be like Rush's show. I seem to hear more liberals call in when there's a guest host. I'm thinking they're afraid to go up against Rush. I've heard too many of them call in, thinking they have something to nail him with, only to be blown out of the water. Has to be disheartening.

No sooner do I get home, and check e-mail, than I see John Kerry, (served in Vietnam, you know) wants to spend $15 Billion on Pakistan. Wonder where that's coming from. Maybe Chris Dodd and Barney Frank can arrange a lone for him. Or, maybe he can get it from his wife. Hmm.

Wish I had taken pictures of the TEA party to post here, but didn't think about it. Got a lot to learn about this "news" business.

But anyway, back to the party. The most vocal people at ours were talking about term limits, and they were quite passionate about running everyone out of Washington. Trouble is, who do we send instead? Good, honest, hard woking statesmen/women are hard to find...for that reason...they're hard at work trying to make a living and support their families, and pay all the taxes we've already been saddled with.

Right after I saw the headline of Kerry spending more of our money, I saw another book, this one by Steve Milloy, founder and publisher of junksience.com. Seems he's been working for fifteen years, pointing out the fallacies in the greenies plans. He thinks while the green entrepreneurs (think Al Gore) are getting rich off the various programs, we'll be paying maybe twice as much for utlities, and that's just a start. He thinks they're working for "energy chaos" to get more government control. Check out the article at newsmax.com.

Speaking of government control, hope everyone got their taxes in the mail. This should also be election day. Would make a difference.

At our TEA party, the next favorite subject was the fair-tax. Push, Push, Push.

Throw the bums out. No more incumbents.

Snipers, bows, nukes and term limits

Did he or didn't he? Did Obama give an order to rescue Captain Phillips? Probably. But I have to agree with Sean Hannity. Apparently some Obama staffers have said, under anonymity, that Obama gave the order twice, over the weekend, to use military resources to free Captain Phillips.

I'm thinking the reason for anonymity, is to give the Obama administration time to figure out how to best spin this thing. Being a born cynic and skeptic, I don't remember hearing much out of Obama regarding the standoff over the weekend, so my guess is they're syncing their story with all necessary personnel. Gotta have all the talking points to all the right people...makes it more believable.

Also, in a Newmax.com article by Jim Meyers, Walid Phares, a Lebanese born Middle East expert had this to say about Obama's bow to the Saudi King. In an interview with Newsmax's Ashley Martella, he said "The image that we saw indicates that there was a political message of quote unquote, submission." In the same interview, Phares said that Iran could have a missle capable of reaching North America in five years. He also believes if the have a nuclear capacity, the won't hesitate to use it--if they think they could win.

On a totally different note, global warming is the new liberal battleground. Not really new any more, but it is their favorite whipping boy, feeding frenzy they can all get behind. And even though John Coleman, founder of the weather channel has called it a huge hoax, with absolutely no real scientific backing, the media figures if they say it enough, it will become true.

Back in '07, George Monbiot, a leading British environmentalist, strongly opposed to carbon dioxide emissions, was writing against the use of bio-fuels. I stumbled across an article he wrote in "The Guardian". Although he's basically like all the other liberals who tend to pull numbers and "facts" out of the air, never to be questioned, he did have it right about the use of bio-fuels. It's already driving up the price of food, and even though it's supposed to replace crude, which there is ample supply, btw, it flies in the face of their own yammering. While bio-fuels are renewable, as is crude, they get even less mpg than gasoline.

And then there's the latest bit of idiocy from Washington. They want to dump a bunch of pollution into the air to cool the planet? Huh? How are they going to get that by the EPA? That might be fun to watch. If the EPA allows that, what else are they going to allow. Maybe they will let the refineries stop producing different formulas for different seasons and locals. That will save everyone money, and probably increase mileage as well...win-win. Hmmm.

Back to the reason for this column. Term limits. Why term limits? I just saw a headline on one of the news sites, CNS, I believe. In Spain, during the last eight years, for every 'green' job created, they lost 2.1 regular jobs. Doesn't sound like a very good trade, does it. What's that have to do with term limits?

To be arrogant enough to think man can control the temperature of the planet is way beyond me. But obviously, there are many in DC who actually think the government can do this. I'm getting really tired of everything 'green'. These screw-in flourescent lights for instance. You can't just toss them if they burn out, because of the mercury.

Someone at a local school broke a thermometer last fall. They shut down the school, brought in a hazmat team, and spent over a quarter million dollars cleaning it up and checking out the little kiddies. Give me a break. When I was in school, we used to break thermometers just to be able to polish coins with the mercury. It was fun watching it bead-up and roll around.

I gotta go take a pill.

Start looking for a new candidate in your area. Don't vote incumbent. We have term limits. It's our vote.

Remember, find a TEA party in your area, and support it. Thanks.

Harris

Term limits--let's hope it's not too late

I just got an e-mail from one of my senators...telling me how he voted on Obama's gargantuan budget...he did vote the right way on it, and he says he's against cutting the F-22 program as well as the C-17. Well, I'm afraid this might be a little late...like closing the gate after the horses are out.

Speaking of budgets and money, which is what speaking of government is, I read an article on newsmax.com about Creditanstalt of Austria's failure in '29 having added two years to the Great Depression. I mentioned this in an earlier post. It seems they're in trouble again. Apparently, the three leading banks in Austria, including Bank Austria Creditanstalt have made to many loans to countries whose economies, if not dead, are floundering badly.

It looks like they're set to lose about $42 Billion. Compared to 3.5 trillion, that sounds like a drop in the bucket. Of course, Austria wants other European countries to help bail them out, but guess who else wants the same thing...Barry Obama, of course. I'm surprised he didn't write them a check while he was over there apologizing for everything. The article did point out a bright side...the Austrians didn't load up on a bunch of subprime junk paper from the US.

I did hear something for the first time today. I didn't catch the name of the guest host on Glenn Beck's show, but he felt like Obama's apology tour has set him up to be a one-termer. 'Course, that was music to these "no more incumbents ears".

We better hope he's right. According to another newmax.com article (one of my favorite sites, obviously) RNC Chairman Michael Steele says the Obama administration is going to use his old friends at ACORN to help with the census count in 2010. Can you say "fraud"? Or is that being redundant? Since the census count affects how Congressional lines are drawn, and therefore, has an influence on electoral votes, the 2010 elections may be more important than 2012. Although, with ACORN involved in the census, the count results may still be in court in 2012. Right now I don't know how much of about 4 billion in Obama's stimulus plan ACORN will be getting, but it looks like Obama is repaying campaign debts with our money.

Let's make sure he's a one termer. I've heard he's second term of Jimmy Carter.

Term limits means no more incumbents voted for.

Harris

no more incumbents? how about no more idiocy?

I was getting ready to write this post, having made notes last night, and I just happened to launch Fox News Live...well, there was a story that I at first thought was about someone who visits my coffee shop.

The reason I thought that, is the story was about some TSA goons strong-arming an airline passenger. After a minute or so, I determined the story was courtesy of TSA at St. Louis's airport, not Savannah's.

Apparently it's illegal to travel from St. Louis with a large amount of cash. I can understand not wanting money to leave town, but I didn't know it was actually against the law for someone to try to leave with it. Fortunately, the young traveler, Steve Bierfeldt, who was smart enough to have his tape recorder running (legally, it turns out), handled himself very well, and was eventually turned loose.

It required interference by a plainclothed official, whom Mr. Bierfeldt thought may have been FBI, TSA, DEA,...he didn't know for sure. Regardless, the sleep-walkers from TSA were heading down to "the station" with him, when the plainclothes guy showed up. When I tuned in, Mr. Bierfeldt was being interviewed by Judge Napolitano on Fox News.

Our local incident was a little more incendiary, because (heaven forbid) there was a gun involved. I don't know the passenger, but evidently, we frequent the same coffee shop. It seems he had been to the gun range a week earlier, and when he finished practice, he had tossed his gun into his bag and went home. When he packed for his short trip, he just threw his overnight stuff into his bag and headed for the airport.

Of course the gun showed up on the x-ray, and our friendly TSA reacted with drawn weapons, and proceeded to create a scene that was finally calmed down by a much better trained, level-headed county policeman near by. My version is at least second hand, but it sounds like the TSA clowns were ready to cuff him, and haul him off to Gitmo. Too bad there wasn't someone with a recorder or camera. I don't know the local laws dealing with such things, but it might have been fun.

Fortunately, our passenger had a CCW/CCP (concealed carry permit) which means he had already been vetted by every law enforcement agency out there, and deemed a 'law-abiding' citizen. He did have to pay a small fine, but thanks to the county police, he didn't have to spend the night in jail.

I too, have a CCP, but I always know where my weapons are...so far.

I had planned to write about a story I saw at newsmax.com last night. It was about the Austria Bank Creditanstalt's failure extending the Great Depression by two years. I had never heard of that before. Granted, I'm in no way a student of world economies or for that matter, the US economy...I have enough trouble keeping up with mine. But, I will share a short opinion tomorrow. Mostly how Europe doesn't want to do what the US has done.

Meanwhile, down with incumbents and idiocy...and that's not necessarily redundant.

The Creature from Jekyll Island - A Second Look at the Federal Reserve by G Edward Griffin

This is the link from my last post, just in case the other one didn't work so well. This is a great read for anyone interested in learning where money comes from, and how it's controlled...who controls it!
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-8484911570371055528

Go here to see the videos, and to order the book. I still haven't heard the commercial again, where a silver dollar is being offered to everyone ordering the book...haven't listened to the radio much the last few days... to busy, also the reason for fewer posts.

In case any of you are wondering about the principles this country was founded on, I offer the following quote, from the introduction to my copy of the Constitution, given me by my bride a few years ago:
The sacred rights of mankind are not to be rummaged for among old parchments or musty records. They are written, as with a sunbeam, in the whole of human nature, by the hand of the divinity itself, and can never be erased.
Alexander Hamilton
The Farmer Refuted (1775).

T
hat being said, our Constitution may be considered old and musty, but if we will just leave it alone, and use it as the law of the land, it will continue to do what it has done for 230 some years, despite the rulings from the bench in some districts.

I was just reading randomly through the Constitution, and lo and behold, in Section 6 saw where senators and representatives, except for treason, felony, and breach of the peace, shall be privileged from arrest during their attendance at sessions of their respective houses. I guess that's why they don't have to obey the same laws the rest of us do?...like paying taxes!

Speaking of taxes, find a "TEA" party near you, and go support it. Who knows, it might make a difference.

Have you heard of the 912 project? Check out Glenn Beck...heard him talking about it today, and I'm going to find out the details. Sounds like Constitutional preservation to me!

Can you believe Mitchell trying to mug the Queen? And Obamba bowing to the king?? Next thing you know, he'll have the US Flag being dipped to freaking Iran!

The best reason of all for no more incumbents.

Read some history and the Constitution.

amendments need protection

Apparently, the Hilda-beast has promised Mexican president Calderon that they (read dems) are going to ban guns in the US, so that Mexicans will stop shooting themselves. Huh? Has anyone read lately, the results of gun bans around the world...how successful they've been?

It seems Hillary and company...Obamba, Reid, Pelotsi, Frank, etc. hey, I spell like I see 'em, have the votes to do what she's out there promising. Another reason for term limits. We're about 18 months away from mid-terms. Let's send only protectors of the constitution to DC.

We can't afford to sit back and wait for someone else to take action. If you want to leave something for your kids and grandchildren, besides a crippling debt, you better take a really close look at your representatives. I'm beginning to think that turning them all out will be best. My congressman has done a pretty good job. Never had a problem with him, but he's been on watch for several terms. I have to wonder what kind of deals have been worked out in back rooms, that don't show up immediately on the voting roles. Hmmm?

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-8484911570371055528 This is a link to the book I promised yesterday. Don't know if I've done this properly, but if it doesn't work, just type in
"creature from jekyll island" It'll take you to where you can get the book. It's the story of the Federal Reserve, and reads like fiction. But it's all documented. Very scary and will just serve to make you mad. But you'll be able to see and understand what is happening with the economy, and who's pulling the strings. There is a video available on a few of the sites. Actually, one just shows the cover of the book, with G. Edward Griffin speaking at a lecture in LA. Another is a video of Griffin explaining the workings of the cartel known as the Federal Reserve.

I highly recommend the book. There has been someone offering a silver dollar, plus the book to everyone ordering one through his commercial. If I hear the commercial again, I'll try to get the info and list it here.

Meanwhile, prepare to clean house!

as usual, remember...no more incumbents.

Extortion, anyone?

If you don't think there should be term limits, check out Neil Cavuto going after Alan Grayson, a central Florida representative. A friend sent me the link to Neal Boortz who had it on his site.
Grayson apparently has introduced a bill to let the Sec. Treas. set income levels for employees of any firm receiving help from the fed. In the first place, the freaking fed should keep their paws off private industry...here's something else I stole off Boortz's site: "Every government interference in the economy consists of giving an unearned benefit, extorted by force, to some men at the expense of others." ...Ayn Rand. Can't say it better, so I'll shut up. But I'll hang on to the quote.

Check out boortz.com to see the video, if you haven't already. It's eight minutes that'll drive you crazy, but Cavuto didn't back off!

I'm going to look up a great book to recommend tomorrow.

Remind your incumbent he/she works for you...send him/her home. How's that for pc?

Another day...this isn't as easy as it looks. You may can tell by the name that I'm against sending incumbents back for another term. There's a lot of talk about term limits...well, we have limits...it's called the 'vote'. I'm not an idiot...I don't think. I would send Sarah back in a heartbeat.

Even have a congressman I may send back...we'll see. Wasn't the whole idea for reps to show up and work for a short while, then return to their privates lives? Look at what we have now. A bunch of clowns who have never held a real job, telling entrepreneurs how to run their businesses. If a business is poorly run and fails, it fails. If it served a viable purpose, another will be there to take up the slack...we don't need a bunch of bureaucrats telling us how to do it...

I got a great e-mail today...a forward of an article written by Pam Geller... titled "something of historic proportions is happening"... It drew the best comparison between Hitler and what's happening here I ever read... she ended it with this quote from Benjamin Franklin: "Democracy is two wolves and a lamb deciding what to have for dinner. Liberty is a well-armed lamb."

Liberty gets my vote.

Anyone interested can send me their e-mail address and I'll forward the whole message...then I'll delete your address.

Vote for a non-incumbent...it's term limits personified.
