$400K brouhaha

More headlines that make my blood boil. It's a good thing my health is good. I sure as heck couldn't depend on medicare to help me pay any bills. And, I sure as heck don't want obamaScare trying to care for me, or anyone I know and love.

The headlines I refer to are on today's version of Newsmax.com. They were all unbelievable, but one of the worse, worst?, was about our money going to Gadhafi's kids...young, terrorist, thugs.

According to Newmax's John Rossomando, Gadhafi's son and daughter are slated to receive $200K for their respective organizations, which are probably just fronts for dear old dad.(My opinion, of course.)

I'm sure you remember Scotland set free the only convicted low-life in the bombing of Pan Am flight 103, over Lockerbie. Apparently, according to the Newsmax.com article, the perp was given a hero's welcome by Gadhafi, and on his trip home to Libya, he was escorted by Gadhafi's son, Saif. Doesn't make sense to be giving any money to any country still bound and determined to do us harm. And to think we just had to welcome that piece of trash to the US, for talks at the UN. Now, that's another story in itself...the UN, that is. How about US out of the UN, and the UN out of the US?

All this brouhaha over the $400K was stirred up by Illinois Representative Mark Kirk...a Republican. Never would have thunk that of someone from HO's state of operations...still don't think that's his home. Way to go, Mr. Kirk.

Unfortunately, that $400K is only part of the funds slated for Libya. I can't quite grasp that. But, then again, most of the leaders of the terrorist nations we're guarding against now, are running around talking about how our very own HO agrees with what they're saying. That can't possibly be good for us.

That brings me back to something I mentioned last time here--impeachment. I still haven't heard anyone officially say the word. I did hear a lady on Rush or Beck mention it last week. Had a Republican president done a smidgeon of what HO has perpetrated, the dems would be trying to run him out of town on a rail. I wonder if we'll ever have another Republican leader with any gonads, like Mr. Reagan.

Oh, and lest I forget, they also had another article on Algore's car company receiving about $530K in our tax dollars. And the car they're going to build, if it comes to be, will go on the market for about $90K. And, it'll apparently go a full 50 miles before having to be plugged in again. They also say it will average about 100 MPG. I guess I'll have to read up on how they figure mileage for an electric car...hmmm. Dollars to dognuts that if this car makes it to market, it will end up selling for much more than $90K, and if true mileage is known, however they measure it, it will be much less in real life than in any thing algore puts out.

Call me a cynic.

Impeachment, anyone?

I couldn't believe my ears this week, when I heard HO was cutting the missile defense budget. But, then I read it on Newsmax.com, and you know what they say...if it's on the net, it must be true. Well, in this case, I'm sure it must be.

I also read somewhere this week, that a whole 10% of Muslims are radical and want to kill all of us. Well, call me cynical, but I believe that percentage is way higher. Sometimes, I wonder if HO is among that percentage. That's why I think he should be impeached and removed from office, before he allows a catastrophic event.

I saw a email forwarded by a friend who had run into two people he described as being Arabs in a Blockbuster video store. They all had seen a video titled "Obama," and started discussing him. The following is from the forward I received: "Subject: Travel for Obama

I was at a Blockbusters on Saturday renting videos, and as I was going along the wall, there was a video called "Obama". There was two men next to me. We talked about Obama. These guys were Arabs and I asked them why they thought Michele Obama headed home following her visit in France instead of traveling on to Saudi Arabia and Turkey with her husband. They told me she couldn't go to Saudi Arabia , Turkey or Iraq . I said "Laura Bush went to Saudi Arabia , Turkey and Dubai .." They said that Obama is a Muslim, and by Muslim law he would not be allowed to bring his wife into countries that accept Sharia Law. Just thought it was interesting that two Arabs at Blockbusters accept the idea that we're being led by a Muslim who follows the Islamic creed. They also said that's the reason he bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia. It was a signal to the Muslim world. Just thought you would like to know"... I found that very interesting.

I'm sure you've probably heard of the Muslim call for prayer of whatever on the lawn of the White House. I wonder what HO will have to say about that, and if he will join in the prayers. I think we're being way too damm PC with them, and before we know it, they're gonna have a hand hold on us, that will be hard to remove...if we don't get started on it right now. I think ACORN losing some of its funding will actually be a step in that direction, but I also think ACORN will be up and running under another name within a month.

What I'm saying is I don't think we can wait till 2010. We need to impeach HO right now. I'm writing my reps to that effect. They'll be surprised to hear from me about something other than the health bill. And don't think I'm being unfair or acting in haste.

If George Bush, (and I was no big fan of his)did anything of this nature, they would have been calling for his impeachment...oh, yeah. They did call for his impeachment. I almost forgot.

Come on 2010.

The only thing I regret, is that he (Mr. Wilson) apologized to HO after calling him a liar. I saw no reason for the apology. If any apology is needed, it is for HO to apologize to the people of the United States...he's apologized to the world for us, so why can't the POS apologize to us?

It seems the 'protest' went really well in DC this weekend. I didn't get to go, but friends of mine did, and we still haven't talked about it, but we shall. The news reports have been good--those on the internet, that is. I don't really watch the MSM; haven't in many, many years. But I did hear Rush today mention that the British press gave the number for the protesters as being close to the number that attended the 'immaculation." Of course, the drive-bys would never admit that. So what?

Our local talk radio show host, Bill Edwards had a call from a young lady who attended the rally. She said everything and everyone was well presented and well behaved. She said a hand full of ACORN thugs marched through, but everyone ignored them. Apparently, there was at least one troublemaker with a pro-healthcare sign, but also--ignored. When I heard that, my first thought was could a dozen or so members of our group parade through a throng of ACORNs or SEUIs without incident? I don't think so. In fact, I'm pretty damn sure not. But I do tend to be rather cynical.

And speaking of cynical. Can you believe that itch Pelosi wanting Joe Wilson to apologize to the congress? Again, if anybody needs to be apologizing, she should be apologizing to the CIA, and to Dick Cheney. Think that'll ever happen? Not in our lifetimes. Just like dirty Harry Reid hasn't apologized to George Bush for calling him a liar. Talk about a bunch of hypocrites.

I'm writing Mr. Wilson, just to support his move. I'm sure many of us are doing the same thing, and he certainly deserves our support. It's about time a Republican grew some gonads. I've never seen a group of people so ready and willing to cave on just about everything. Well, I'm pretty sure, that if more of them don't start standing up like Joe, more and more of them are going to be finding themselves staying home after the next election.

Ken Hamblin, where are you?

I loved listening to The Black Avenger, Ken Hamblin on the radio...back when he had his broadcast from the Mile High City. My son lives in Denver, and I always fancied meeting Ken some day on a visit. So far, it hasn't happened. But something I remember Ken saying, on more than one occasion, was something about the fact that he couldn't name a place in the US, run and managed by blacks, that was prosperous.

I wish he were still on the air. I'd love to hear his take on what is going on now, in these great United States. For one thing, I'm pretty sure you've noticed how often the race issue is being tossed about lately. If someone disagrees with something the current administration wants to do, that being HO, the race word is often thrown out. You can't even offer a simple criticism without being called a racist...if you're white, of course. Blacks, I've noticed, can't be racists. I wonder why. But, then again, I'm also a terrorist and trouble maker. I can't even think of all the attributes lauded on the WASPs these days.

In fact, I have to write my mayor about something, and I'm sure I'll end up on another list. Apparently, he's joined with that great American, the New York mayor, Bloomberg to try to take away our gun rights with Bloomberg's "Mayors Against Illegal Guns" lobbying group. BTW, how can a gun be illegal. I know there are illegal immigrants soaking up our SS monies, not to mention health care that we provide, but really, how can a gun be illegal?

I know plenty of people possess them illegally, but that has nothing to do with the gun. It's just that murderers, crooks, thieves and felons in general are going to have a gun. They don't give a crap about laws, ergo, if we let them take away our guns, the only people with guns will those who don't give a damn about the law in the first place. But, I digress.

Back to this racism thing. But, I can tie it to my note of my mayor...he's black. Back when Mr. Hamblin was on the air, he could name over several cities run by black administrations, and they were all going in, or already in the dump. Georgia now has a higher unemployment rate than the rest of the country, and no, we don't have a black governor. But, my fair city has a higher unemployment rate than the state, and we do have a black mayor. Now, the really scary thing is this...what do we now have leading the country?

I know, I know--leading is hardly appropriate, but he is in that position. And where is the country headed? Right now, they're admitting to a 9 trillion dollar deficit, but when has the government ever been right on things like this? I'd bet money, if I had any, that the next projection will be at least $10 trillion. I just now heard on Rush's show, that the feds are getting ready to raise the debt ceiling to $12 trillion. The interest on that is going to be around $650 billion a year.

I don't have anything against HO's being black. I do, however, have a lot against his policies, his background, his lack of transparency, his long time associations and those of his associate in crime. I can hardly wait for the next installment of Glen Beck.

Just to be clear, black-wise, there are many blacks I could easily vote for as commander in chief. Walter Williams, Thomas Sowell, Ken Hamblin, Herman Cain, Michael Vick, Michael Vick? At least, I bet he could produce a valid birth certificate.;~)) Point is, it isn't a black/white thing. It's a values/character/constitutional thing, and I'm all for that.

Ken, where are you when we need you? I hope you're still enjoying American Dream. I found your tail number one time, and used to listen for it on occasion. 'Course, I never heard it on the air. If you're still up there, keep the blue side up!

Keep an eye on DC this weekend, and later, when the muslims are on the steps.

HealthScare debacle, Hamas & the Holocaust

What do they have in common? Well, it seems they fit into HO's plan for changing the country.

The more I read about the healthScare plan proposed by HO, the Scarier it becomes. There's a great article on today's CNSnews.com site. Basically talking about various points of the plan, but mainly talking about how HO will be able to appoint a "Commissioner" of health, to make major decisions in how we the people get our coverage, what coverage we're able to get, and who will provide the coverage, if this thing passes.

Now, another thing. I read from time to time, that the big reason we need all this healthscare reform is so that the 15% of those without coverage, can be covered. Well, in the first place, that's totally bogus. Most of those without coverage, don't want coverage. They're like I once was...young and invincible. Most of the remainder are illegal aliens. And I can guarantee none of them is going without care. There was a recent article in our local paper about how much is spent on indigent care...how about $17 million a year? That's just for our little area. Of course, that's paid for by higher premiums for us, and higher taxes, but the point is, we're already paying for it, and no one is going without health care. But, still, HO and his willing accomplices in the media, and the democrap party, insist on destroying the best health care system in the world. Why else does anyone who can afford it, and some who can't, come to the good ol' USA for medical care?

According to Fred Lucas, in his CNSnews.com article, and he specifies the pages from the bill (3200), this commissioner will be able to set up exchanges, containing both the government option, as well as insurance companies we can choose from for our coverage. These will be reviewed yearly, and changes will be made...not might be, will be. And it may not take a year. It's the government. And it's HO. They can change minds before ink dries. And, since the government "option" doesn't have to make a profit, what government agency ever did?, the insurance companies will be hard pressed to compete. It won't take long for the feds to be the only game in town.

If you are part of the 85% of working Americans with coverage, you probably have already run into the HMO stuff. I'm not at all up to speed on insurance plans being offered currently, but I do know that not all of them work for everyone. Now, you may get a list of doctors to choose from. I did, but fortunately, my doc was on the list. If he weren't, I'd still use him, such as he is. Point is, I did have a choice of doctors. With this new commissioner/czar, that will not be the case.

Then this commissioner/czar will be dictating what coverage is available, for whom, and what doctor can deliver said coverage, where.

Of course, HO doesn't need authority of a bill to appoint a commissioner. He could just appoint another czar. I'm sure sebelius could suggest a few, but I'm just as sure he'd rather pick one of his Chicago henchmen for the job. What about Traficant?

I hear he just got out of jail, and probably needs a "job." I don't know how well an Ohio dude would mix with the Chicago mob, though.

I mentioned hamas and the holocaust in the headline. Did you see where Hamas is against the teaching of the Holocaust in their schools by none other than the UN. And, I believe the UN teaching was going to be that the holocaust was a lie. Not sure about that, but wouldn't be surprised. Just said all that to remind you that HO signed an executive order, one of his first, setting aside millions of dollars, maybe billions, to relocate Hamas refugees to the states,(our states)where they would be set up with housing and probably work...or just let them continue on the public dole, while they set about making their plans to take over everything they don't want to bomb.
