Green Giant Sucking Hole

I have looked for the article debunking one of the greenies favorite scams...wind energy.  Cannot imagine where it went.  I will continue to look.  Someone sent me the following link in the meantime, so I've included it here.  It's very good reading, charts and all.  You will find it interesting and again, it confirms the fact that the green movement is just the latest home of Communism.

Speaking of giant sucking holes, the mayor of my home town, Savannah, GA and one of our esteemed council personas, is off to Austria for some bogus conference on 'green energy/sustainable energy/bio-mass fuel conference.  In other words, how can we take more of the corn that used to be destined for the table, and turn it into ethanol, something that reduces the efficiency of fuel by about ten percent, thereby reducing the mileage of your car, yet costing us more.  Just one more way the greenies and government are screwing us over.

The article I've been trying to find is on the wind turbine industry.  It destroyed the myth of the 'sustainable, free, world saving benefits of wind energy.  I will find the article and post it back here...or a link to it, at least.  So far, every city, state, county, country and probably continent that's tried the green wave, has lost its shirt.  To paraphrase Mr. Perot, that great sucking sound you hear, is the sound of the latest government/MSM/liberal attempt to grab more of our money and freedom.

Check it out.  The only thing green about the 'green industry' is the money we're throwing at it.  And, as you know, Algore is grabbing more than his share.  That really sucks.

This is from a website I was reading yesterday, I think it was from the Heritage Foundation. I found it very apropos. Then the following article showed up in my mailbox. Very interesting, but you know it will elude the MSM. Years ago, Rush said something I'll never forget...I'll have to paraphrase but essentially, he was aghast at the arrogance of people, to believe that we could actually do something to harm the planet. Like he said at the time,we may be able to destroy ourselves, but not the planet. But you also know, there's no one more arrogant than HO.

I'm often reminded of this when I travel through my home state, North Carolina. In the eastern part of the state, there are abandoned tobacco barns, standing in fields and near houses, slowly being retaken by nature. I may have mentioned this before. There's an old WWII air base south of my hometown. It's now a nature preserve. Three paved runways, all of which nature has reclaimed.

The picture at the top was taken last summer.  I used to get ice cream there, but now it's an eyesore, and as you can see, is being reclaimed.  It'll take a while, but whether it gets bulldozed or just disintegrates, it will eventually disappear.  Just like us, if we don't change out Washington.

Pathalogical must be catching

Seems to be infecting the entire Democrat party. And, it starts at the top, and slides, slithers, tumbles, washes, falls, descends,--pick your verb--to the bottom. There's another saying that goes something like this:"S**t always flows downhill..."

Well, we the people are at the foot of the hill, and the crats are trying to dump obamaScare and cap and tax on us, while at the same time, taking over and running private enterprise. And before I go further, let me not forget global/climate-change/warming.

I was only half kidding this morning, at the club, when I said the left and the drive-byes would soon be saying all this cold and snow is being caused by their latest iteration of the green sickness. Have you ever noticed how when one of their pet projects starts to lose favor, they just change the name and keep right on going? I always figured that if ACORN actually was defunded, they'd just change the name and never look back. But, I think some judge made sure they didn't even have to worry about that.

How many names has the Brady bunch used for their anti-gun promotion campaign? I can't even think of all the left wing, pinko-commie-egg-sucking-dog-liberal attacks on the Constitution that have started out under one name, failed, and changed to another to continue the assault. How many names has moveon.org used. I was reminded by Rush today, that the communist newspaper also changed its name.

BTW, the "left wing, pinko-commie-egg-sucking-dog-liberal" thing is in honor of one of my favorite talk show hosts...The Black Avenger...Ken Hamblin. I would love to hear what he has to say about today's events.

Anyway, digressing to what I was talking about at the club this morning, re: all the snow...I was headed downtown to pick up some proofs, when I heard on the radio news, someone going on about how "climate change was responsible for all the snow we're having this year". I was totally not surprised. But, I did shake my head and laugh...outloud. I guess any drivers paying attention thought I was crazy, unless they were tuned to the same station.

Speaking of climate change, which it does, btw, I was reading an article on one of my favorite sites the other day, getting more and more furious as I read, because everything was being reported as pure fact,(this global warming hocus-pocus) I thought I was going to explode. I finally got to the end of the article and discovered it was one they had posted from the ap. Whew. I had started to wonder if that is where it came from, and I had even gone back to the beginning for the author, but it wasn't there. Never did learn who wrote that drivel, it was just credited to the AP. Don't blame 'em. Wouldn't want my name on it, either.

Keep your guard up. We're under nine months, now.
