If you don't read all of Mr. Sowell's article, at least read the last paragraph.

Talk about terrorist...
They're alive and working in congress. I think we should fear congress more than terrorist--congress, and the current occupant of the White House.
Here's a great article by Bobby Eberle on GOPUSA. I wish I never had to read it, but as you know the dems have crammed healthScare down our throats. At least, they have it to a point of making us gag.
GOPUSA - The Loft
I keep hearing all my heroes--Rush, Hannity, Beck, etc.--say 'it ain't so' yet. They say there's a long way to go, but I didn't think it would get to this point. I've always been gullible, and a bit naive. A bit? I'm not sure I'm less naive now, than when I was a teenager...I'm pretty damned naive. But at least, now I'm damned cynical, too. Fact is, I think I'm way more cynical than naive...so there.
What really frosts me is the way 535 or so elitist in DC, people sent there to represent us, think they can go against the will of 'we the people.' Well, they did--I guess they showed us. I didn't watch the retards yesterday, hardly ever do, because I just get mad and my blood pressure spikes, but I appreciate those of you who can stand it and report. But someone said this morning, at the coffee club, that HO mentioned that in seven months no one will remember this...no one will still be mad...we'll all be back to business as usual, and vote for whomever promises us the most. My wife just came in and made a comment on what they're doing to Medicare--how it's being gutted, and she thinks it's going to get worse...of course, it is.
I mentioned to her the comment by HO that no one will remember this in seven months...she agreed. If we don't remember, we deserve everything we get.
Remember the Alamo
Remember Pearl Harbor
Remember insane Hussein.

The Deem-o-crats' towering deception (OneNewsNow.com)
The following is an article from Michelle Maulkin, another of my favorites.
The Deem-o-crats' towering deception (OneNewsNow.com)
I was just reading a forward of a list of 100 new agency/bureaucracy add-ons this new obamaScare bill is going to create. Apparently, all 100 are listed in and called for in the body of the bill.
Something occurred to me as I scanned over the list...I wonder what a lot of my health food friends, who I'm pretty sure voted for this piece of garbage in the White House--I wonder what they're going to think when they found out that they're going to be forced to have demosurance, and they're going to have to give their kids all the shots, like the flu shot for instance, because I bet my own money, that'll be the "law". I've never taken a flu shot, and don't plan to. Might get interesting if somebody shows up with a needle.
What's happening to our country?

Tax man cometh, and he's checking on your Doctor
Next time the tax man arrives at your door, he'll be looking into your health coverage. I, and a few other million folk have been listening to Rush try to explain what's going on with this vote planned for Sunday, day after tomorrow. It could mean the end of life as we have known it, not to mention the end of our country.
Newsmax - Obamacare Grants IRS Perilous Power, GOP Says
Yesterday, I read another article that made a similar reference, but it was to people making 200 percent of the poverty level. I wonder if tomorrow, it'll be increased to people making within 400 percent?
And another thing that makes me wonder--and there are many, when it comes to politicians and politics, but I wonder how the healthScare bill went from not being paid for and causing an increase in the deficit, to exactly the opposite? I guess HO got to the "non-partisans" in that little group. Wonder what he promised?
I don't really see how we can survive his one term.
Pray for our country.

You'll note in the above article that they reference people being within 300 percent of the poverty level:
"Nearly half of the new individual mandate taxes will be paid "by Americans earning less than 300 percent of poverty, $66150 for a family of four."

Bobby Eberle is one of my favorite political writers. Rarely does he pull a punch and his article for the Loft follows. If you haven't seen it, it's well worth the read.

Wonder what part of NO dim hairy, scary pelosi and hussein don't understand?
Meanwhile, lets hope HO keeps on campaigning for them dems!

Jobs, Crystal and obamaScare
How is this for saving or adding jobs to the economy? I forget where I saw this, but it's enough to raise the old BP rapidly. It's from the NY Post, but I forget what service sent it to me.
Hillary Clinton contracts purchases of $5.4M in crystal stemware for American Embassies to Swedish firm Orrefors/Kosta Boda USA - NYPOST.com
And on the matter of health care...I saw in the local paper this morning, an article promoting women between the ages of 19 and 25 or 26 getting the shot that helps prevent the STD that promotes cervical cancer. I was totally blown away, because the article, by an OBGYN or is it OGBYN, or is it OMGHIC, said it didn't matter if they were on medicade, medicare or just plain didn't have money, the state of GA would take care of the three step process, which, according to the article runs $14 per. Who needs healthcare reform?

SEIU’s Andy Stern: A Budget Vulture Feasting on the Public’s Nest Eggs
Just in case you think Hussein Obama has your best interest at heart, read this from the Center for Individual Freedom:
SEIU’s Andy Stern: A Budget Vulture Feasting on the Public’s Nest Eggs
Pay particular attention to how he overrides the house with an executive order. Wonder why no one is talking impeachment?

Constitution and the census
The following link from newsmax.com is not about the Constitution per se, or about the census. It's just something I thought I should pass along for anyone who comes by here without having seen it. It's Justice John Roberts speaking on HO's State of the Union gaf.
Newsmax - Roberts: Scene at State of Union 'Very Troubling'
This next little quote is from the Heritage Foundation and was in my inbox today. I add this only because I disagree with the headline. I think it is Very intended:
But enough of that. I'm sure you're all aware the census is upon us. I guess we should be receiving our forms in the next few days. A couple of young guys, out of work for almost a year now, well--they own their own business, but it is very dependent on the construction of new homes. They've done very little business in the past twelve months.
Anyway, they went to take the "test" to be a census-worker. Identification was to be by passport, driver's license or social security card. He said one guy showed up with his prison release records, and they let him in. The test was supposed to start at 11:30, and at 12:15 they were still letting brothers start the test. Nothing unusual there, of course. He said there were 28 questions, and thirty minutes to complete the test.
I don't remember any of the questions, but the ones he talked about, which he considered hard, sounded rather inane for a test of that nature...but I'm not in government.
When my form comes, I'll fill in name, rank and serial number. Nothing more.
Hope you the best with acorn.

This next little quote is from the Heritage Foundation and was in my inbox today. I add this only because I disagree with the headline. I think it is Very intended:
An individual mandate with disastrous unintended consequences. To expand coverage, the bill includes guaranteed issue of coverage combined with an individual mandate. However, rather than encourage “young invincibles” to carry insurance, the mandate, which would be less expensive than insurance coverage, would create incentives for young and healthy adults to pay the penalty rather than buy and carry a costly health plan. This would destabilize the insurance market by reducing the spread of risk, leaving the elderly and sickly in insurance risk pools. Premiums would thus skyrocket — further discouraging healthy individuals from obtaining care. This was an article in which they were diagnosing the consequences of the senate healthcare bill passing. I'm not at all sure that the consequences are 'unintended.' I think they intend to run private insurers out of business. I think they plan for the government to be in complete control.
But enough of that. I'm sure you're all aware the census is upon us. I guess we should be receiving our forms in the next few days. A couple of young guys, out of work for almost a year now, well--they own their own business, but it is very dependent on the construction of new homes. King Andy:The SEIU Obama Connection -- Michelle Malkin -- GOPUSA
I love this lady, as do a few million others. I'm amazed at the stuff she turns up with her research for all her articles... here's one that will probably get your shorts in a twist...enjoy, if you haven't seen it already.
The SEIU Obama Connection -- Michelle Malkin -- GOPUSA
It's patently obvious that any pinko-commie-egg-sucking-dog-liberal-tax-cheat HO can't employee at the White House, he can make a czar. Take a look at worldnetdaily for the lowdown.
And in the mean while, don't give up the fight. Those sobs are still trying to saddle us with obamaScare, cap and tax and if those don't float, the epa is there to regulate us into oblivion.
I heard one of my senators on local talk radio this week...Chambliss. He hasn't a clue. There were a couple of callers reading him the riot act, but you could tell it didn't sound like he heard a word they said. Probably had a script prepared that he was going to deliver, regardless what someone said...
But that's a politician for you.

White House to push ACORN pet project
This is a link to a very interesting article I found in my mail box from The Patriot website. Hope you take a minute or two to read it.
White House to push ACORN pet project
And, for what it's worth, HO was in town today. I stayed as far away as possible, and hoped for worse weather. After I thought it was all over, I drove down to my second favorite grocer--The Fresh Market-- for the makings for tonight's dinner.
Turns out the Market is near the vo-tech school where HO spoke. I shouldn't have been surprised by the way people parked down there. I just hadn't thought about it. After using all the available legal spots, they just started stopping and parking any where they liked. Savannah's about 65% black so we're pretty used to that, anyway. Just not quite so much.
I heard a blurb of what I suppose was his speech, where he was talking about how he now wants cap and tax to be passed so that we can become more "green." Right! I have yet to see ANY proof of ANY where that's been able to go green with anything resembling a profit, or even a break-even operation.
The one that always comes to mind is Spain. They've been at for about nine years now. They've lost thousands of jobs and are about to go bankrupt. That's what HO would like to see happen here. If he gets another chance, (second term), that's what will happen. I hope we wake up before it's too late.
Come on November!
BTW, my favorite grocer--Brighter Day Natural Foods.
